CCA responded with another two runs and the game was tied after one inning going into the second. The score remained tied 2-2 until the fourth when Gracie Fox hit into a fielder’s choice. Ramsey Middleton stepped up to the plate and forced an error to get Fox home.
Then the fifth inning came and the PCA Lady Patriots scored a total of 4 runs. A double by Smith, a five pitch walk by Danner and a single by Milli Anderson got Smith home yet again. After a dirt ball read signaled Tatum to steal home, the Patriots were up 6-2 after six batters. Ramsey Middleton then grounded out to the shortstop and Fox got home. The inning ended with the PCA Patriots up 7-2.
Citizen’s Christian only scored one more run for the remainder of the game in the bottom of the fifth inning.
