Pinewood Christian Academy's (PCA) high school girls took the field for the annual powderpuff tournament sponsored by the junior and freshman classes. While the girls were applying eye black, the boys were putting on cheer skirts to cheer them on.  Seventh and eighth grade teams opened up in an exhibition game that ended in a tie.

The seniors versus the freshman were up next. The girls battled it out, but the seniors took the win. The next game was the sophomores versus the juniors. The juniors took the win, 15-6.  The final game was seniors versus juniors. After a long game, the seniors were named the 2023 Powderpuff Champions with a score of 28-6.
