One soldier was airlifted to Memorial Health University Medical Center following a military cargo crash on Walter Dasher Road on the evening of Sunday, July 17, 2022.

According to Georgia State Patrol (GSP), the soldier was headed northbound on Walter Dasher Road, outside of Glennville, around 8 p.m. when the soldier lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn on the roadway.

The condition of the soldier is unknown as of 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 18.

Fort Stewart military police is handling the investigation into what caused the crash.
