Effective Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the Pharmacy Department of Strickland's Pharmacy closed its services in the filling of prescriptions. Their active prescriptions remaining with the pharmacy were transferred to Glennville's Walgreens Pharmacy as of that date.

However, for those who would like to have their prescriptions transferred elsewhere other than Walgreens or have other concerns, please visit Strickland's Pharmacy at 111 E. Barnard Street, Glennville, and make your concerns known to a staff member, or to request a listing of your prescriptions printed for you for pickup at Strickland's Pharmacy or either faxed or emailed to you, or sent to another pharmacy of your choice.

Caring for our community has been an honor, and we deeply appreciate the relationships we have built with many of you," said Sindy Strickland, wife of late Pharmacist Dennis Strickland and the owner of the business.

The Gift Dept. remains open at the 111 E. Barnard Street, Glennville, location as well as a limited supply of over-the-counter medications.
