Warriors represent well at state weightlifting meet
State weightlifters for TCHS

Tattnall County Warriors competed at the state weightlifting meet on March 12 for the first time under the tutelage of Coach Rodrick Williams. 

The Warriors had four members who had outstanding performances and finished near the top of their respective weight class. 


Ivan Williams - Senior; state runner-up in the 171-180 weight class with a 290 lb. bench press and 255 lb. power clean

Xavier Friendly - Sophomore; state runner-up in the 191-205 weight class with a 265 lb. bench and a 265 lb. power clean

Andrew Willis - Junior; state runner-up in the 181-190 weight class with a 295 lb. bench press and a 255 lb. power clean

Keegun Moore - Junior; third place in the 191-205 class with a 255 lb. bench press and a 265 lb. power clean


Congratulations are extended to these young men.  It is great to see all the hard work in the off-season paying off.
