Tattnall County High School’s Cross Country (XC) team ran their first meet for the 2022 season, the Frazier-Hite Invitational, on September 1.

The meet was hosted by Southeast Bulloch High School at 7 Mile Farm in Statesboro.

The Warriors finished first in their Region and sixth out of 27 total teams. Tattnall’s Stephen Bacon finished fourth overall with a time of 18:21.00.

The Lady Warriors finished third in the Region and eighth out of 24 total teams.

“We have a tough Region this year.  We had a great first meet, but there’s still a ton of improvement that needs to be done,” Head Coach Jacob Stanfield said.

Tattnall XC will travel to Long County High School on Wednesday, September 7, for their next meet.
