Gary Dwane Filkins, age 36 and the son of Leslie and Vicki Groover of Glennville, recently became a Warrant Officer in the Georgia Army National Guard, a CW-5 like his father. Leslie and Vicki were in attendance at the Warrant Officer Graduation on July 10, 2024, to pin the CW-5 rank on Gary. 

The event was held at the United States Aviation Museum at Fort Novosel, Alabama.

Gary’s parents congratulated him and expressed their love and admiration for his determination and patriotism in earning this rank.
