Nicole Balkcom will serve as the new Reidsville city council member, replacing Donald Prestage, who resigned from his seat on the council. Since Balkcom is the only person who qualified, and is unopposed, a special election will not be needed on November 3, 2026. She will serve as the council member for Ward 2, Post 3.
