The number 4 ranked Tattnall County Warrior men’s soccer team returned to their winning ways with a 5-4 overtime shootout victory over rival Pierce County on Tuesday, March 15 in the Badlands.
Pierce County led, 1-0, at the break, but Tattnall’s Andrew Fermin scored a goal in the second half to tie the score, 1-1, and send the match into overtime. The Warriors would then prevail, 5-4, in the shootout.
Tattnall County improves to 10-1, 4-1 in the Region. Pierce County falls to 6-5, 2-3 in Region play.
The Lady Warrior soccer team was blanked by Pierce, 6-0, on Tuesday, March 15, at home. The Lady Warriors are currently tied for fourth in the region, with a 3-7-1 mark.
