Jasmine Johnson soars through the air to place first in the triple jump.

The Tattnall County track teams outpaced four other teams and took top honors at a track meet held at Claxton High School on Tuesday, March 22. The Warriors picked-up big wins in the field events and kept that momentum into the sprints. 


Top finishers for the Warriors were:

4x100 meter relay: Xavier Friendly, Isaac Brown, Tyrone Brown, and Jeremiah Mayner, 1st Place (44.88)

4x800 meter relay: De’Andre Lester, Stephen Bacon, Nathan Aaron, and Axel Sierra, 1st Place (9:38)

100-meter dash: Jeremiah Mayner, 1st Place (11:21); Jaycer Cruz, 6th Place 

400-meter dash: Issac Brown, 1st Place (54.74)

1600-meter run: Nathan Aaron, 1st Place (5:55); Jonathan Taylor, 2nd Place
