The Tattnall County High School (TCHS) Lady Warriors softball team stands at 2-5 overall for the 2022 season, but the weather continues to interfere with much of their game time.

Tattnall fell to Vidalia 9-2 to go to 1-1 in region play on Tuesday, August 23. The following Thursday’s road Region game versus Brantley was postponed due to lightning and rain.

On August 30, the Lady Warriors won a pivotal match-up against Pierce County 2-1 at home. Kaylee Odom led the Warriors on the mound, throwing a complete game and only allowing one earned run.

The Lady Warriors were set to travel to Appling County on Thursday, September 1, to play in a Region match-up, but the rain caused the game to be postponed to September 12.

The Lady Warriors were slated to battle in the Badlands with the Yellow Jackets of Southeast Bulloch on Tuesday, September 6, but the game was canceled.
