Barbara Ann Autry, age 82, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Savannah on November 5, 1939, and she had lived many years in Autryville, North Carolina, before moving to Glennville 26 years ago.  She retired from the Tattnall County Board of Education as a custodian at Tattnall High School.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and she was a member of Clement Baptist Church in North Carolina and had attended Glennville First Baptist Church.

Barbara Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Lilabell Tomberlin; her husband, Gerald Maxton Autry; and her siblings, Bill Allen and Charlotte Deal.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Jim Bowles of North Carolina and Rachel and Steve Reyes of Florida; sisters, Mary Todd of Glennville and Joyce Howe of Wilmington Island; grandchildren: Avery Bowles, Sarah Bowles, Sydney Bowles, Eva Reyes, Bella Reyes, and Nik Reyes; great-granddaughter, Harper Pruitt; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.
