As C.S. Lewis once said, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

“I, Seth Edwards, have qualified to seek election for the  District 4 Board of Education (BOE) seat. I was born and raised in Mendes, Tattnall County, and graduated from Tattnall County High School in 2006. I am married to Audrey Fennell Edwards, and we have two children, Rae and Rhett, who attend South Tattnall Elementary in Glennville. Audrey is a teacher at Tattnall County High School. My parents are Kenny and Angie Edwards, also of Mendes.

“Our schools, once safe havens for learning, are facing new challenges every day. As a student athlete who grew up in the Tattnall County School System, I want an education system that encourages intellectual growth and critical thinking, as well as affords ample opportunities to be engaged in a robust athletic program.

“As a candidate, I am focused on guiding our district towards these values. My role will involve facilities, and open communication channels between the superintendent, the school board, and the community.

“My campaign is not driven by political agenda. It is rooted in my experience as a professional, my love for Tattnall County, and as a parent of two children. I humbly ask for your vote on May 21, 2024.”
