Three winners were selected from dozens of entries from fourth graders in the Tattnall County Farm Bureau Ag Art Contest, with the theme of "Farming Business.”
The judging was held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Farm Bureau office in Reidsville.
The art of Leanna Purvis, a fourth grader in Mrs. Morgan Anderson's class at South Tattnall Elementary School (STES), was selected as the first-place winning entry. Second place was awarded to Christian DeJesus in Mrs. Tara Rogers' fourth grade class at North Tattnall Elementary School (NTES). Third place winner was Kennedy Horn, another student in Mrs. Anderson's class at STES.
Each of these winners was presented monetary awards as follows: for first place, $75; for second place, $50; and for third place, $25. Also, the teachers of each of these students receive the same monetary award.
