The Greater Tattnall Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome the gathered crowd to Gametroopers in Glennville for the May 2022 Business After Hours Event, held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

Chamber President Dan Bennett welcomed all and introduced Cedrick Bacon, the owner of Game Troopers.  He began by introducing his wife, Katrina, and stated that she was the backbone of the business.

Gametroopers operates a retail store where customers can find many unique items including video games, Funko Pops, graphic t-shirts, gift cards, and more.  In addition to their retail business, they have a variety of video gaming and décor options to assist clients in hosting events both at their building but also at the venue of the client’s choice. Bacon stated that keeping the youth engaged and entertained is his top priority. Gaming events held at Gametroopers teach good sportsmanship, team work, and hand eye coordination. Additionally, console rental times are available, and they even offer supervised gaming time, so parents or caretakers can run errands while knowing their youth are in a safe and secure environment.

Both Cedrick and Katrina are civic minded as well, focusing on the needs of the youth in the community through their various community outreach programs. A delicious meal was available for those in attendance as well.

“For the Love of the Game” is Gametroopers slogan. Stop by and check them out and see all that they have to offer! Be sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 14 at 6 p.m. for the next Business After Hours event to be held at WRBX FM in Reidsville.
