The Greater Tattnall Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) is excited to announce the appointment of Dusty West as its new GTCC Jr. Board Director. Dusty, a lifelong Tattnall County resident, brings a wealth of experience and community involvement to the role.
A 2015 graduate of Tattnall County High School, Dusty furthered his education at Ogeechee Technical College, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Funeral Service Education in 2020. With a career in the funeral industry spanning 11 years, he currently serves as a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home in Vidalia. Dusty has been an active member of the GTCC Jr. Board since 2014 and was recognized with the GTCC Jr. Board Member of the Year award in 2015. Dusty is also a member of Reidsville Baptist Church, and a graduate of the Academy of Embalmers of Georgia and the Georgia Funeral Directors Association. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his tractor, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.
Joining Dusty on the GTCC Jr. Board is Morgan Jaynes as an assistant. A native of Effingham County and a 2018 graduate of South Effingham High School, Morgan is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Georgia Southern University. She works as a paraprofessional at Blandford Elementary School in Rincon. Morgan enjoys traveling, playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. Morgan will bring youthful energy and enthusiasm to the GTCC Jr. Board.

Both Dusty and Morgan expressed their enthusiasm for joining the Jr. Board.
Dusty stated, “I look forward to working with Morgan and the rest of the GTCC Board to make a positive impact on Tattnall County.”
Morgan added, “I am eager to get involved in the community and make a difference. I believe the GTCC Jr. Board is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and give back.”
The GTCC Jr. Board is planning an exciting year ahead, including a new member orientation in August.
