Canoochee EMC Foundation recently presented a check to the Glennville Garden Club to aid on the replacement of the floor in the Garden Club Center on Caswell Street in Glennville. Canoochee EMC Communications Specialist Joe Sikes made the presentation to Pat Tatum, Garden Club Committee Chair for the flooring replacement, which was done by Graham's Floor Covering in Reidsville.

"This facility is widely used in Glennville as a meeting place for the Glennville Chamber, weekly Glennville Rotary Club meetings, city functions, Glennville Garden Club meetings, class and family reunions, banquets, birthday parties, and a range of other events where a spacious room is needed with ample parking. The floor was in need of replacement, with the tile cracking in many places before this improvement was made," said Glennville Garden Club President Pam Waters.

"We are grateful for our Canoochee EMC customers who participate in the Round-Up Program, which allows these funds to grow each month and be returned to the communities in which we serve. This floor replacement was a definite need for the Glennville community, and we appreciate the fundraising efforts of the Glennville Rotary Club and Glennville Garden Club that contributed significantly to this flooring replacement project," said Sikes.
