Trevor Kuchar, age 16, placed first overall in the 5K race sponsored by Kidz Etc in the August 10, 2024, race, with 30 runners participating. Rusty Higgason and his wife, Karen, were the first adult male and female to complete the race, and the race became a family affair when their daughter, Macey Higgason, age 16, placed first among the female teens.
