Ashley Findley, a physical education teacher for K-5th grade at South Tattnall Elementary School (STES), was honored as WTOC Top Teacher last week, with the airing on WTOC on September 2, 2026. WTOC’s Mike Cihla presented the plaque to Ashley as STES Principal Destiny Johnson and Assistant Principal Claudia Martinez observed.

“I always wanted to coach and help people, especially children, so I went into teaching. The career choice allows me to help others and make a difference in their lives. I work with all ages every day, and that brings a smile to my face as I see their satisfaction,” said Ashley.
