Tattnall County High School (TCHS) senior ZaRayna Anderson was crowned as the 2024 Homecoming Queen in a halftime ceremony at the Friday, November 8, 2024, football game. This event is always highly anticipated by students, which was the culmination of a week filled with school spirit and pride and many activities.
ZaRayna is the daughter of Derrek and Tonja Anderson of Glennville, and she was escorted onto the football field by her father. She is well known for her leadership and involvement and was honored with the prestigious title from the voting of her fellow students. She is a member of the Lady Warrior softball and soccer teams, the Key Club, and Best Buddies. She is a recipient of the Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen (REACH) Scholarship and was a Homecoming representative in her freshman, sophomore, and junior years. She has committed to play softball for Fort Valley State University after graduation.
Senior Ester Espino Hernandez, daughter of Rolando Espino and Maria Hernandez of Reidsville, was selected as Homecoming Princess. She was escorted by her brother, Misael Espino. She is a member of Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Project 7, and the National Honors Society. Ester is the Senior Class Reporter and the band captain for the Warrior Sound of Pride.
Other members of the 2024 TCHS Homecoming Court are eleventh grade representative Ava Johnson, daughter of Wes and Ashley Craven of Glennville and Brandon Johnson of St. Simons Island; tenth grade representative Sophia Dutton, daughter of Bryan and Jessica Dutton of Glennville; and ninth grade representative Cali DeLoach, daughter of Cal and Katie DeLoach of Glennville.
