Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Treat Day at Glennville DQ raised a whopping $30,226, with the goal of $20,026. An elite part of the day was the participation by Paige Armstrong Ewing, Mrs. America 2025, who was the high bidder for a Blizzard for $3000. This annual DQ Blizzard auction is a highlight of the CMN Treat Day in Glennville each year. Armstrong's Cricket Farm, owned by Paige and her sister, Jessica, has been a supporter of CMN Treat Day for many years.
However, Jim Wimmer was another contender for a Blizzard being auctioned, but he settled on a small Blizzard, a peanut butter one, matching Paige's $3000 bid. Jim added the high bid of $300 for a six-piece chicken strip basket meal for a year, one a month. Jim, too, has been a faithful and generous supporter of this special day in Glennville.
A bid of $275 from Robert Brooks brought him a 10" DQ ice cream cake a month for the next 12 months.
Jennifer Ball, Glennville Chamber of Commerce Board member, took home a meal a month at Chelsea's on the Go for her bid of $175.
Debi Woods will be prepared for the next year, with a gym membership to Anytime Fitness Glennville Gym with her bid of $250, along with a specialty pizza a month from Marco's Pizza for the next 12 months for $250. Her husband, Terry Woods, was the auctioneer for the 12 noon CMN Treat Day auction, which is always highly anticipated and brings a great noon-time crowd to the DQ.
In addition to Mrs. America, several local title holders attended and assisted during the day: Madison Page, 2026 Miss Georgia Sweet Onion, and Kenzie Hinson, 2026 Miss Tattnall County High School.
Kelly Claxton, CMN Philanthropy Coordinator, and Becca Miller, Foundation Partnership Director for CMN, attended the special day in Glennville. Kelly has attended almost every Miracle Treat Day in Glennville since Zuber Malek has been promoting this superb cause, beginning in 2007, when he first raised $3500. One year, Malek's Glennville DQ was the top DQ fundraiser in the nation, with $52,018 in 2018. However, his DQ is usually in the top three nationwide year after year in the amount of funds raised on this day for these children's research hospitals.
"I am always overwhelmed and grateful for the local support and attendance on CMN Treat Day. Our staff was very hyped up for the day, and they all enjoyed the day, even though it is very exhausting. My family members helped in delivering meals to the tables. Tanzil is the most wonderful helpmate imaginable, and our sons are already quite adept in various phases of the eateries we own," said Zuber, referring to the couple's four sons: Yusuf, Aadam, Uzair, and Ismail.

Contributing to the amount raised was the sale of $1 paper balloons that have been sold for weeks. These balloon sales provided two coupons, $1 off any size shake and $1 off any size dipped cone.
Also, Blizzard coupons were sold in advance, and all Blizzard sales on CMN Treat Day were a contribution to the amount raised.
