Tattnall County public schools will begin the 2024-2025 school year on Thursday, August 1, 2024. These include Tattnall County High School (TCHS) on Hwy. 23 near Reidsville, South Tattnall Middle School (STMS) in Glennville, North Tattnall Middle School (NTMS) in Reidsville, South Tattnall Elementary School (STES) in Glennville, and North Tattnall Elementary School (NTES) in Collins. Tattnall School Superintendent is Dr. Kristen Waters.

TCHS is located at 1 Battle Creek Blvd., Reidsville, off Hwy. 23/57. The principal is Justin Flowers, and assistant principals are Sabrina Page, Allen Yancey, and Amy Scott.  Allen Cartwright is the Athletic Director. Doors open at 7:20 a.m. and students are required to be in their classrooms at 7:40 a.m.; release time is 2:40 p.m. Phone number is 912-557-4374, fax is 557-4742.

TCHS open house/orientation is Tuesday, July 30; 9th grade first, at 9 a.m.; upperclassmen from 10:30 a.m.-12 noon. Pre-K open house is at 1 p.m. the same day.

 STMS is located at 721 E. Barnard Street, Glennville. The principal is Tori Flowers, and assistant principal is Jessica Helms. Doors open at 7:15 a.m., and students are required to be in their classrooms by 7:30 a.m.; release time is 2:30 p.m. Phone number is 912-654-1467, fax is 654-1300.

STMS open house schedule is for Monday, July 29, for grades 7 and 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; and for 6th grade, 4 p.m.

NTMS is located at 148 Brazell Street, Reidsville. The principal is Donny Sikes, and assistant principal is Beth Kennedy.  Doors open at 7:10 a.m., and students are required to be in their classrooms by 7:30 a.m.; release time is 2:30 p.m.  Phone number is 912-557-3993, fax is 557-4124.

NTMS open house is Monday, July 29, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

STES is located at 102 Love's Chapel Rd., Glennville. The principal is Destiny Levant, and assistant principals are Angela Young and Claudia Martinez. Gates open for car drop-off at 7:30 a.m. For morning drop-off, parents must enter off Hencart Road (this is the same as last year). Start time is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. release time.  Afternoon car pick-up line opens at 2:45 p.m.  for the 3 p.m. release. 

NTES is located at 26189 Hwy. 23, Collins. The principal is Jonathan King, and assistant principals are Dently Crews and Melanie Kirby.  Gates open for car drop-off at 7:25 a.m. For morning drop-off, parents must enter off Hwy. 23 (this is the same as last year). Start time is 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m release time.  Afternoon car pickup line opens at 2:45 p.m. for the 3 p.m. release.   Phone number is 912-693-2455, fax is 693-4908.

STES and NTES open houses are Tuesday, July 30, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Even though school supplies for Tattnall County have been given to students the past three years, funds are not available this year for these supplies; lists of supplies for the elementary and middle schools are on the Tattnall school website.
