Coastal Plains Charter High School (CPCHS) Evans Site held its summer graduation on June 9, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at the Southeastern Technical College Auditorium.
Eight students met the criteria to graduate, earning their high school diploma. The following are to be commended for their efforts in meeting this goal: Christopher Adkins, Alanah Dulmage, Samantha Estrada, Jordan Harris, Kaylee Hightower, Jali Myers, Ashley Juarez-Reyna, and Delayisha Whitelocke.
Alanah Dulmage was the Evans site’s Highest GPA, and she will receive a $150 scholarship toward the place she chooses to attend post graduate.
Kaylee Hightower led the ceremony in the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Winter Graduation ceremony was held on January 13, 2022, at the Southeastern Technical College Auditorium. Coastal Plains Charter High School (Evans) graduated three students. The following are to be commended for their efforts in meeting this goal: Tryce Kennedy, Caroline Martinez, and Adolfo Santiago.

Coastal Plains Education Charter High School is Southeast Georgia’s answer to the dropout problem. It is an Accredited Georgia Charter High School, offering a unique opportunity to any student who wishes to earn an accredited Georgia High School Diploma.
There are 15 locations across the South Georgia region, with Evans County Site being one of those offering a full range of high school courses in a convenient, flexible, self-paced format. All classes are held in the evening, so students can work during the day and attend school at night. Tuition is 100 percent FREE for students who enroll with Coastal Plains full time and who are under the age of 21.
All courses are mastery-based, which means students cannot fail a course. There are no deadlines, so students can take as much or as little time as needed to successfully complete the coursework. To better meet the different learning styles of students, Coastal Plains offers a variety of courses through web-based instruction.
All methods provide self-paced, individualized mastery learning.
The Coastal Plains Educational Charter High School Evans site is located in the Career, Technical, and Agricultural (CTAE) building located at 102 North Clark Street, in Claxton, Georgia. There is presently an enrollment of 42 students from Evans, North Bryan, and Tattnall counties in grades 9 through 12. The main office number is 912-739-1214.
