“Picnic in the Park on July 6 is NOT associated with any chamber of commerce or any other entity.  This is something I have wanted to do and have worked hard to get it together.  I thank God for my team, as this takes a team to do, and thanks to Logan McCullough at the Recreation Department for hosting the event at the beautiful park,” said event organizer Laurie Bergeron.

Fireworks are by DEEP SOUTH FIREWORKS, which will end the fun-filled day.  The event will open with a prayer from Pastor Tracy from Deliverance Center Outreach Ministries in Glennville to thank our men and women for our freedom and to give them and their loved ones protection.

The skies will then light up yellow to show love and support to childhood cancer.  Some in Tattnall County have lost young children, and Tiffany Bonin will dedicate this yellow show of lights to her deceased son, Logan, and others who sadly lost children or are having a child struggle with this horrible disease.

Thank you, and it is hoped to see thousands come and enjoy this picnic in the park and fireworks at the Glennville Recreation Department.
