The Journal Sentinel to serve as legal organ for Long County for 2024
The Journal Sentinel logo

The Journal Sentinel has been voted by the three constitutional officers of Long County--Sheriff Craig Nobles, Probate Judge Teresa Odum, and Clerk of Courts Sherry Long--to serve as the Legal Organ for Long County for the year of 2024.  This involves the printing of all legal ads relating to Long County to be printed in the Tattnall County newspaper, The Journal Sentinel.

The Long County legal ads will also be posted weekly on the Long County website.

The change was approved in the fall of 2023 by these three officials, and an ad stating this was directed to be printed by Long County Probate Judge Teresa Odum in The Long County Press for four consecutive weeks; it was printed in the December 4, 2023, edition and then not printed in the other mandated editions in December.
