Pledger House and Sunshine Place staff honored

The staff of Pledger House (for men) and Sunshine Place (for women) in Glennville, homes for those with intellectual disabilities,  were honored on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, during Direct Support Professionals' Week, September 11 through 17.

The staff of both homes were treated to refreshments and gifts, and accolades of appreciation were showered upon them for their compassionate and caring service to the residents.

Board members of Pledger House and Sunshine Place attended and expressed their thanks for the care given to the residents.  Board members include Holly Durrence, Janice Brannen, Karen Marshall, Lilian Hobbs, and Susan Wilcox.

Pledger House staff includes Program Supervisor Dianna Vazquez, Shannon Alexander, Peggy Bellamy Spell, Katrina Palmer, Regina Ford, and Mia Walker.

Sunshine Place staff includes Program Supervisor Charlene Levant and Direct Support Professionals Shay Gantt, Bridget Davis, Yarriania Morris, Maxine Coley, and Shonkeria Alexander.

The staff of both homes stated that they appreciated that their services were valued by the Board members and residents' family members.
