Donna Williams of Reidsville recently painted an American Flag on canvas designed to look like a flag painted on a brick wall and donated it to Post 7764 in Reidsville.  “I thought it would be different,” Donna said.  “I’ve seen flags made of wood, and they are beautiful.  I’ve never seen a flag painted on a brick wall so to me that would make it a little unusual.”

The college football season is in full swing, and there are advertisements for college football games all over television that say, “There’s never too much college football.”  Members of Post 7764 apply that same logic to the American Flag.  Regardless of the season, there’s never too many American Flags.  Donna’s “Brick Wall Flag’ is another beautiful way to portray Old Glory.

A big thank you to Donna for her donation.
