Tattnall Softball struggles at fifth in the region

The Tattnall County High School (TCHS) Lady Warrior Softball team has struggled to stand tall in their region, currently standing fifth of six region teams for the 2022 season. They are 4-12 overall. 

The Lady Warriors dropped games to Brantley on September 15, 7-3, and on September 19, 13-5. They then lost 9-1 to Pierce County on September 20 and 15-2 to Appling County on September 22.

They played a non-region game on September 26 against Islands and picked up a much-needed win. Junior pitcher Anna DeLoach picked up the win, throwing a complete game only allowing five hits and one earned run. 

The Lady Warriors fell to Toombs 5-3 on September 27 and fell in a non-region game on Monday, October 3 to Wayne County, 11-2. 

The Warriors traveled to Brantley County on Tuesday, October 4. They will host Vidalia on Wednesday and Pierce County for Senior Night this Friday. Game scores will be made available on www.tattnalljournal.net.
