Tattnall County High School’s volleyball team has struggled to finish strong in their latest games.

The Lady Warriors lost, 2-0, to Vidalia High School on September 14, 2022. Vidalia won the two sets, 25-13 and 25-19.

“We are struggling with finishing strong when we have the lead. That is definitely something we have to focus on to win more games,” Head Coach Ashley Findley said.

The Lady Warriors then traveled to Wayne County on September 16 and settled for a 3-1 loss. Tattnall won the first set, 25-23, but could not finish the job in their next three sets. The Lady Warriors lost, 25-17, 25-10, and 25-20, to the Yellow Jackets.

“Our rotation was set up a little differently because of injury or sickness, but they played hard. We had a few times where we let balls drop because of lack of communication and not moving our feet. Overall, I was proud of them for being flexible and working together,” Findley said.

The Lady Warriors will travel to play Pierce County, a Region opponent, and Savannah Arts on September 20 at 6 p.m.
