The North Tattnall Middle School (NTMS) Girls’ Soccer Team came out victorious on March 7, 2022, when they hosted a game against the David Emanuel Academy (DEA) Girls’ Soccer Team.

NTMS put the first point on the scoreboard, as Juliana Hernandez dribbled the ball over 50 yards to score.  This point did not stand alone, as Camilla Ovale, assisted by Selin Balderas, made the second goal.

DEA was scoreless going into the second half; however, this did not last long, as one of their midfielders made it past the NTMS defenders and goalkeeper to score. The score was now NTMS 2, DEA 1. Not to be left out, NTMS’s Hernandez made not one but two unassisted goals.  The final score was NTMS 4, DEA 1.

The NTMS Boys’ Soccer Team outscored Trinity Christian to earn another win.  NTMS’s Gio Ornelas scored first, unassisted. Trinity Christian tried to retaliate with a point of their own, only to be denied by NTMS defenders Eli Debevec, Luis Robles, Jerry Martinez, and Giovanni Harris. Then, NTMS’s Marcos Mendoza astonished the fans as he zoomed past Trinity Christian’s defense to score. The game was now NTMS 2, Trinity 0.

Trinity now had possession of the ball, but not for long, as Carlos Aparicio stole the ball and scored. NTMS did not stop there, as Gio Ornelas, assisted by Jack James, made another goal. However, Trinity did not remain scoreless. They scored a point off of the NTMS goalkeeper, Alex Hernandez. The score was now, 4-1. Then, with the clock winding down, Michael Mendoza sneaked past the defending team to score. The final score was NTMS 5, Trinity Christian 1.
