Brantley’s family attended the October 19 event, who included his parents, Jay and Lyn Swindell; and his brothers, Grayson, a sophomore at UGA, and Ben, a junior at Pinewood Christian Academy.
Brantley graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriscience and Environmental Systems, with a Certificate in Agribusiness Law. His plans are to enter law school in the fall of 2023.
During his time at UGA, Brantley was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity in which he served as Vice Noble Ruler Recruitment and Philanthropy Chair. He served as fraternity team captain for UGA Miracle, which fundraises for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
In addition, he was an ambassador for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) through which he represented the UGA CAES in student and alumni affairs, recruited students, and gave tours of the CAES to potential students and their families.
Brantley was inducted into the Agricultural Honor Society in the spring of 2021, which is the highest honor that a student in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, the College of Veterinary Medicine, or the College of Engineering may attain while at UGA.
