Johnny Lee Mincey passed away on July 15, 2022, after fighting a long and courageous battle against cancer for three years.  He was born on January 25, 1953.

He was a pillar in the community, knowing many friendly faces.  Those who knew him best can attest to the selflessness he demonstrated throughout his career and personal life.  They’ve seen the steadfastness, diligence, and effort he yielded in everything he did.  Truly a consummate citizen,  his admirable conduct encapsulated kindness, wisdom, and integrity.

Everyone is invited to a memorial service for Johnny Lee Mincey on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 12 noon, at Golden Memorial UMC, located at 6903 James D. Simpson Avenue in Douglasville, Georgia.

Everyone includes family, friends, classmates (Fort Valley Alumni) (Phi Beta Sigma), former students, co-workers, etc.
