Glennville Bank President/CEO Will J. Sheffield recently announced promotions for several deserving employees.  These include Connie S. Rogers, Lisa B. Bright, Debra C. Dubberly, Zach T. Horn, Christy D. McCall, Andrea R. Sapp, Garrett D. Waters, Laura L. Brant, Heather G. Fitzgerald, Hannah K. Miller, Haley K. Sanders, Tracy B. Sapp, and Laura A. Wells.  Their new positions are listed under their names in bold type.

Connie S. Rogers

Vice President of GB Bank Group and Glennville Bank

Rogers began her banking career in 1977, through the Vocational Office Training program at Glennville High School. In August 1989, she joined the staff at Glennville Bank. Throughout her extensive career, Connie has served in all facets of the bank. She was promoted to Administrative Assistant/Board of Directors Recording Secretary in 1996, and, in 1999, she was promoted to Banking Officer.  In 2005, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President.  In 2020, she was promoted to Corporate Secretary/AVP of GB Bank Group, Inc., and Glennville Bank.

She and her husband, Jeff Rogers, who owns and operates Jeff & Jes Construction, are the parents of Cortney Rogers and Jes (Tabitha) Rogers. They have five grandchildren.

Lisa Bright

Banking Officer

Lisa Bright began working at Glennville Bank in July 2004, and has worked in customer service and as a teller at all seven locations of GB Bank Group when needed, but primarily in Glennville Bank. She was promoted to Assistant Banking Officer in 2018 and is presently Operations Supervisor at Tippins Bank in Claxton. Bright's 2003 degree from Southeastern Tech in Business Office Technology has been a plus in her banking career.

She is married to John H. Bright, Jr., a retired sergeant of the U.S. Army who has been employed at Fries Farms for the past 23 years. They have two children, Ivie Page and Erica Griffin, and two grandchildren. 

Debra C. Dubberly

Banking Officer

Debra C. Dubberly will have reached 43 years of banking experience in May of this year. She has worked in all departments and appreciates the cross training that the bank encourages. 

She has served as Assistant Banking Officer, Assistant Teller Supervisor, Customer Service Supervisor, and in other positions in the bank. Dubberly has been at the Glennville Bank Branch for the past five years.

She and her husband, Tim, who is employed at Rotary Corporation, have two children, Matthew and Amanda, and three grandchildren.

Zach T. Horn

Banking Officer/IT

Zach Horn began his banking career in 2017 at Glennville Bank, and he is the Network Administrator, with the bank employees his "customers," keeping everyone content on their technology needs and knowledge. He finds his job fulfilling and enjoys the relationships he has formed with other members of the GB Bank Group family of employees.

He is married to the former Madeline Thompson, who is a content stay-at-home mom to the couple's three children: Riley Mack and Reese and Rhett Horn.

Christy D. McCall

Banking Officer/Reidsville Branch Manager

Christy D. McCall has worked in banking for the past 20 years; for the past three years, she has been with the Glennville Bank Group, with the last two at Reidsville Bank.  She enjoys being close to her home in Reidsville.

She and her husband, Hunter McCall, who is Facilities Director at Optim in Reidsville, have three sons: Ridge, Rans, and Rafe.

Andrea R. Sapp

Banking Officer

Andrea R. Sapp has over 25 years of banking experience, with the last six years at Tippins Bank. Her banking career with the GB Bank Group began in 2016, and she became a loan officer in January 2019 and Assistant Banking Officer in 2021. She enjoys meeting and helping serve her customers and community daily.

She lives in Claxton, where she is actively involved in many community activities; she is also a council member for the City of Hagan.  Sapp has one daughter, Taylor Sapp, a 2021 graduate of Georgia Southern University.

Garrett D. Waters

Banking Officer

Garrett D. Waters has been with Glennville Bank for ten years and enjoys his job as Loan Officer and assisting his customers with consumer loans. He likes to know that his job helps people.  

His parents are Dennis and Regina Waters.

Laura L. Brant

Assistant Banking Officer

Laura Brant began employment at Ludowici Bank in 2002, with six years of banking experience.  Since that time, she has served the customers of the Ludowici, Hinesville, and Jesup areas.  Laura assists with various projects, parades, and fundraisers held by the bank and the community.

Laura has two sons, Tanner and Conor, and one granddaughter and another expected in August. 

Heather G. Fitzgerald

Assistant Banking Officer

Heather Fitzgerald has been at Statesboro Bank, a member of the GB Bank Group, since it opened in 2015. She serves as a Teller, Loan Processor, and Customer Service Specialist. Fitzgerald began working at Tippins Bank, another member of the GB Bank Group, in high school and during her college years.

She and her husband, Brian Fitzgerald, Jr., a Paramedic with Bulloch County EMS, have three fur babies. 

Hannah K. Miller

Assistant Banking Officer

Hannah Miller has been employed at Glennville Bank for almost four years, and she previously was a teacher for five years. She is a Mortgage Loan Processor, mainly handling residential mortgages and investment loans.  She likes seeing the satisfaction and excitement when someone becomes a first-time home buyer.

She is the daughter of Watermelon Creek Baptist Pastor Steve Miller and Christy Miller. She has two brothers, Zach and Caleb, and one niece.

Haley K. Sanders

Assistant Banking Officer

Haley Sanders is a loan processor and has ten years of employment at Glennville Bank. She has worked as a teller, customer service representative, and has been in the loan department since 2015. Her job responsibilities include taking the information for the loans and creating the documents. Sanders loves her job and coworkers, her second family.

She and her husband, Sam, who is employed with MHD & Son Farms in Mendes, are parents to a son, Mack, and twin girls, Darby and Caroline.

Tracy B. Sapp

Assistant Banking Officer

Of Tracy Sapp's 13 years in banking, eight of those have been at Glennville Bank. She has worked as a teller, loan processor, and customer service representative and has enjoyed all facets of the banking world, but especially enjoys interacting with customers. She has enjoyed working in preparing for the bank's annual Cancer Survivors' Dinner, parade entries, and other various fundraisers that the bank supports. Sapp is grateful for her friendly working environment and her co-workers who are always encouraging and helpful.

Her children include Rachael Sapp Martin, Josh Sapp, Rebekah Sapp, Jared Sapp, Hannah, Sapp, and Sarah Sapp. Significant other Eric Durrence is also supportive of her commitment to her banking career. 

Laura A. Wells

Assistant Banking Officer

Laura Wells began her banking career at Glennville Bank in 2017, with eight years of previous banking experience. She transferred to Ludowici Bank in 2021, where she serves as a loan officer and credit analyst. Although she enjoyed her years at Glennville Bank, Ludowici Bank is like "going back home," with her roots in nearby Gum Branch.
