City of Reidsville welcomes new building inspector

Devin Jarriel was welcomed at the September 12, 2022, Reidsville City Council meeting as the new building inspector for the city.

“I am here to help the citizens of Reidsville in any way possible,” Jarriel said. 

Jarriel, 38, previously worked at Rogers State Prison as an engineer. He is also retired from the United States Marine Corps, where he gained 12 years’ worth of skills and knowledge to aid in any career. 

He is a licensed electrician and asbestos inspector. Before joining the Marine Corps, Jarriel graduated Southeastern Technical College with his degree in residential, commercial, and industrial wiring. He is a 2003 graduate of Tattnall County High School. 

Jarriel has two children, Jaedin, 17; and Lauren, 11. Jaedin is the owner of Jarriel’s Window Tinting, located behind the Warrior Pro Car Wash in Reidsville.
