Adam Boyett was recently voted by his fellow firefighters as 2024 Collins Firefighter of the Year. He joined Tattnall County Fire Department in 2017 and became a firefighter in 2018. He joined the Collins Fire Department in 2019, an indication of his dedication to these volunteer efforts to preserve life and property.
Adam is highly respected by his fellow firefighters, viewing him as a diligent worker and a valuable asset to all the departments he serves. He always exhibits his willingness and ability to help anyone in need.
“I am honored and humbled by this recognition bestowed by my fellow firefighters,” said Adam.
Collins Fire Department extends their gratitude to Adam and to all of its members for the sacrifices they make in order to help their community any time day or night, at a moment's notice.
Adam is the son of Cindy and Jerry Boyett of Collins. He has two children, Landen and Emma Boyett. Adam is employed by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
