Abbey Noelle Hutcheson, daughter of Wes and Angela Hutcheson of Lyons, and a 2022 honor graduate of Tattnall County High School, recently represented Toombs County in the Forestry pageant in Tifton in June. She won Miss Georgia Turpentine Queen and prettiest dress.

She received a cash prize for prettiest dress and a $16,000 scholarship to Wesleyan College. She will compete in the National Forestry Pageant in September in Tifton. Thanks are extended to her sponsors: Gigi's in Reidsville; Wilkes Office Supply in Vidalia; and her grandparents, Jimmy and Judy Hutcheson.

Hutcheson plans to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Georgia Southern University.
