Tattnall County election information for the upcoming Nov. 5 election
Voting

Election Day will be Tuesday, November 5, 2024, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the various precincts in Tattnall County.  On election day, voters are to vote in their polling locations and not the Elections office in Reidsville.

Applying for absentee ballots by mail began August 19 and the deadline is October 25, 2024, to request an absentee ballot application.  Please remember that the application must be in the Elections Office by this date of October 25, 2024.

UOCAVA-Electronic Ballot Delivery (EBD) mail-out date is September 17, 2024. UOCAVA refers to Uniformed and Overseas Citizen Absentee Voting Act, which is for absent uniformed service members, their families, and citizens residing outside the United States.

October 7 is the deadline to register to vote or make changes for the November 5 election.

Advance in person voting is as follows: October 15-18 and October 21-25, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., voting at Elections Office in Reidsville; Saturday, October 19 and October 26, voting from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Elections Office in Reidsville; and October 28-November 1, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., voting at Elections Office and East Glennville precinct.
