Paige Dasher Mulligan has announced her intention to qualify for re-election for a second term as Clerk of Courts of Tattnall County in 2024.  Mulligan was elected to her first term as Clerk in 2020, serving as Deputy Clerk for 14 years prior.

“It is a great honor to serve as your Clerk, and I look forward to continuing to serve Tattnall County for another term.  Over the past four years, I have worked diligently to overcome the significant court backlog resulting from COVID-19, while simultaneously operating my office in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner,” said Mulligan.

“I am proud to have been able to digitize more years of our county’s real estate records at no cost to the taxpayers and to begin implementing an electronic filing system for real estate records.  I am especially grateful to my proficient and knowledgeable Deputy Clerks who enable me to maintain the level of service that the citizens deserve,” added Mulligan.

Mulligan is married to Mike A. Mulligan, who is a farmer and owns a rental property business.  Her children include Dylan Mulligan and Faith Mulligan Yarbrough (husband Casey).  The Mulligans are expecting a granddaughter, Julia Belle Yarbrough, in 2024.

Paige is the daughter of the late Gerald W. Dasher and Pam Durrence Dasher and is an active member of Glennville Methodist Church.

A formal announcement will follow qualifying.
