I, Marcus H. Nobles III, have qualified for re-election to the position of Glennville City Councilman for Ward II. I was elected to the position on May 24, 2022, filling the unexpired term of my late brother-in-law, Councilman Dennis H. Strickland.
My wife, Susan Strickland Nobles, and I have one son, Nicolas Nobles. I also have three stepchildren: Will Tatum, Elizabeth Tatum, and Stephanie Tatum Largent. I operate a local advertising business known as Nobles Outdoor Advertising, and several rental properties.
I am a graduate of The University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I am currently a member of the Glennville Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Tattnall County Library Board of Trustees, and the Glennville Rotary Club. I am presently Chairman of the Tattnall County Republican Party and have served in that capacity for many years. My family and I are active members of First Baptist Church of Glennville.
I consider myself very blessed to call Glennville my home, and it is an honor to serve as your City Councilman. I ask for your continued support and prayers as we move forward together.
