High for Tattnall hits 103 in June

The high for Tattnall County for June 2024 was recorded as 103 on June 26 and a low of 59 on June 1, with two other days in late June showing 101. Rainfall totaled 4.12 inches, and 2.80 of this came on June 27 and 28.

Also, on Monday, June 10, 2024, .72 inches of rain came along with brisk winds and egg-sized hail in the Glennville area occurring about 3:30 p.m.

The previous month of May 2024, the high was 94 and the low was 54 with 4.60 inches of rain.

A year ago, in June of 2023, the high was 96 and the low 61. Rainfall measured 7.48 inches, with most of that occurring June 11-23, with the first and last of the month dry.
