The annual Glennville Pancake and Sausage Supper will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Glennville Garden Club Center. You may eat in or take out the meal.
Advance tickets are $5 each, or $7 each at the door. A drive-thru pick-up is provided. Tickets will be available at the Glennville Chamber of Commerce office and the Glennville office of The Journal Sentinel. If you are interested in purchasing multiple tickets and need them delivered to a business location, you may contact Shellie Smith at cell 706-970-5738 or the Chamber office at 912-654-1616.
Chamber members are encouraged to host their Christmas Open Houses on Friday, November 10, in conjunction with the Chamber event. The following stores have confirmed that they will be participating:
*Strickland’s Pharmacy on downtown Barnard Street has decorated trees that feature religious ornaments, children’s fun items, and a ballerina tree. Also, on Friday, November 10, you can choose your SALE percentage by drawing out of a bowl on the counter, up to 50 percent off. Their fun and bright Christmas earrings are the rage right now, too. As always, you will find UGA and GSU items, with a nice selection of UGA caps. See their Christmas t-shirts, also.
*Wiregrass Designs is in the Christmas spirit with their adorable little girls’ Christmas nightgowns and their Christmas t-shirts in several designs. The shop always holds some eclectic surprises, so make sure you visit Libba Thomas and her staff this Friday. Their baby gift items are precious, and remember Wiregrass Designs for monogramming, too, as well as jewelry selections.
*South Georgia Recoil is joining in the festivities with hours until 8 p.m. this Friday. South GA Recoil is your Smith & Wesson and Taurus Guns dealer, and special mail-in rebates are now available on Taurus handguns and a Smith & Wesson special. *Mascot Pecan Company Gift Shop will tempt your sweet tooth when you walk into their Hwy. 301 S. location.
