Local boys to compete in Wrangler Youth Bull Riders World Finals

Three local boys:  Malachi Jarriel, Hagen Jarriel, and Jaxson Sikes, will be traveling to Abilene, Texas, the first week of August to compete in the Wrangler Youth Bull Riders World Finals.  They were fortunate to get wildcard spots to compete.

The week will consist of three days of competition so as to earn a position in the top 15. If they achieve this, they will compete in the short round for the championship on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Malachi Jarriel, age 14, is the son of John and Hannah Jarriel of Cobbtown and grandson of Danny Ray and Debra Collins of Cobbtown, Lester Jarriel of Collins, and the late Gail Jarriel King.  Hagen Jarriel, age 9, is the son of Bryan and Sierra Jarriel of Collins and grandson of Carla Graffagnino of Collins, Lester Jarriel of Collins, and the late Gail Jarriel King.  Jaxson Sikes, age 13, is the son of Kara Wrenn Sikes and the late Clay Sikes and grandson of Kay Sikes of Collins, Donald Wrenn of Collins, Pat Boyd of Vidalia, and the late Willis Sikes.
