Julian Larsen of Glennville turned 80 on Saturday, June 18, 2022, and celebrated his birthday fulfilling an item on his "bucket list" for his celebration: riding a motorcycle.

Donnie Epperson of Glennville Faith Riders, who is also a friend of Julian, heard about his request and was more than happy to grant Julian's birthday wish.

Larsen serves as the Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Glennville at the present time, and he always is an enthusiastic and committed Christian in the pulpit.  He has served as a pastor in several area churches and Minister of Music in past years.  He is retired from the Tattnall County School System.

At his church of First Baptist on Sunday, the congregation sang "Happy Birthday" to a surprised Julian Larsen.

For those who are unfamiliar with a “bucket list,” it is a number of experiences, achievements, or travels that a person hopes to have or accomplish during his/her lifetime.
