The Greater Tattnall Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting event for TCM Contracting Inc. in Reidsville on April 7 at 12 p.m.

TCM Contracting Inc. was created by Tammy Wilds of Reidsville, Mike Silva, and Charlie Hinson, both of Jesup, two years ago in Jesup.

“I praise the Lord for Charlie and Mike,” Wilds said. “We prayed about this business for years, and the Lord just guided us to start this business in the middle of the pandemic. We have not slowed down since.”

They do it all — pre-construction, government facilities, construction, commercial retail business, post-homes, and custom homes.

The business owners and members of the Tattnall County community are excited to see this business move to Reidsville.

“We thank everybody for supporting us in everything that we do. A lot of people here are customers of ours, and we appreciate your business. We appreciate everyone that has had a part in this business,” Wilds said.

Greater Tattnall Chamber of Commerce President Dan Bennett spoke highly of the business and the work they do. Bennett also works at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home in Reidsville and has witnessed the fantastic work they have done for the funeral home.

“We are very thankful to Tammy, Charlie, and Mike for choosing Reidsville as the home of their business,” Bennett said. “If you just take a walk through their building, you can see the amazing work they do. The work that TCM has done at the funeral home was high-quality and was done on-time.”

The economic impact of a contracting company will benefit Reidsville in more ways than one, according to Bennett. He is excited to see growth and more jobs become available in the area because of TCM.
