The purpose in doing so is to honor Mr. Danny Lynn, who was employed with Glenvue Health and Rehab for over 25 years as the Administrator. Mr. Lynn had, no doubt, that this Health Fair would not only bridge the gap with the residents of Tattnall, but also educate them on services offered here in the community.
With 3485 senior citizens living in Tattnall County, the quality of life for senior citizens is vital. Tattnall has approximately 200 nursing home beds and a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital at Optim in Reidsville.
Cendra Brown, Skilled Nursing Liaison of Glenvue Health and Rehab, mentioned, "As a pastor's wife, I have witnessed firsthand that many of our senior citizens are living 'without' because they are not aware of the services offered and available to them. Educating our senior citizens is key for the staff of Glenvue Health and Rehab.”
Some of the local vendors to attend the Health Fair include Heart of Georgia Area Agency on Aging and Disabilities, Money Follows the Person, Regency SouthernCare Hospice, Bethany Hospice, CHSGa Home Health, Amedysis Home Health, Evans Memorial, and many more.
The event will include distribution of a lot of vital information, vendor giveaways, and numerous door prizes.
Everyone is invited to come for an informative but fun event.
