Financial crimes span over State and Federal jurisdictions. These investigations require man-power and resources not always available to smaller communities which makes these crimes difficult to investigate and prosecute. Sheriff Mac Edwards has made the investigation and prosecution into these kinds of crimes a priority and thanks to the citizens of Evans County for their help in bringing these criminal to justice.
