Chris Driggers is a candidate in the November 7, 2023, election for Ward I of the Glennville City Council.

He is a proud native of Glennville, Georgia, where he has spent his entire life contributing to his community and pursuing his entrepreneurial spirit.  As a dedicated husband and small business owner, Chris exemplifies the values of hard work, commitment, and community engagement.

Early Life and Roots: Born and raised in Glennville, Chris has deep-rooted connections

to Glennville. Growing up in this close-knit community, he developed a strong sense of belonging and a genuine passion for supporting local businesses and initiatives.

Entrepreneurship: Chris is a successful small business owner, managing and thriving in two diverse enterprises. He not only owns several rental properties in Glennville, but also is co-owner of E&E Automotive as well as manager of Kenny Watson’s Collision Center. His entrepreneurial

journey reflects his determination and versatility, as he navigates the challenges and rewards of running his own businesses and making valuable contributions to the local economy.

Family Life: At the heart of Chris’s life is his loving wife, Jennifer, and their three beautiful daughters: Alissa, Laura, and Catherine. Jennifer, a former teacher at Tattnall County High School, and now an Associate Broker at Coldwell Banker Southern Coast, is also an entrepreneur who believes in giving back to our Glennville Community. All three of the girls are active students in the Tattnall County School System, where they participate in many clubs and activities that involve community events and service projects.

Their family is the source of his inspiration and motivation, and they share countless cherished moments together. They enjoy spending time on the water, boating and diving, and traveling. Chris and Jennifer’s commitment to nurturing their daughters’ growth and well-being is a testament to their strong family values, which serve as the foundation for their happiness and success.  Their household is filled with love, laughter, and a deep sense of unity, making it a warm and welcoming place for all who enter.

Community Engagement: Chris believes in giving back to his community. Whether through his businesses or personal efforts, he actively participates in local events and initiatives, contributing to the overall growth and well-being of Glennville and its residents. His commitment to community-building is a testament to his love for his hometown and its people. He is a member of the Masonic Altamaha Lodge #227, where he currently serves as Junior Warden.  The Masonic lodge also allows him to give back to the community as well as assist the children in the Masonic Home of Georgia.
