Angela James Boutique, Tattnall County’s newest storefront boutique, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event this past Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. The location is 718 S. Veterans Blvd. in Glennville, the former site of Clyde’s Market Offices. This is a joint venture of Angie Woolard and her brother, Jamie Smith.

Glennville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kim Craft welcomed the crowd, thanking Angie and Jamie for their storefront location and bringing this boutique to Glennville. Glennville Mayor Bernie Weaver added his welcome to the Woolards and Jamie for yet another investment into the Glennville business community.

Angie extended her gratitude for the support she has received, and especially that of her husband, Greg, and her sister-in-law, Cindy Anderson.

She commented that friends and family have continued to support Angela James Boutique since it first opened online on Black Friday in 2023.

“After working a couple of pop-up events, we realized our customers enjoyed the in-store shopping experience.  In May, we decided to open the boutique on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  As we continue to grow and the demand increases, we hope to open more days,” said Angie.

The boutique inventory includes jewelry; purses; accessories; dresses, including mini and maxi dresses; tops; slacks; shorts; rompers; jumpsuits; shoes, including sandals, wedges, sneakers, and boots; and home décor.

Delicious refreshments were served, and shoppers on August 1 registered for a free shopping spree valued at $200, which was won by Candace Copley.
