South Tattnall Middle School’s (STMS) baseball team conquered the North Tattnall Middle School warriors 11-1 on March 29. 

NTMS hosted STMS but did not have the home advantage. STMS’s Hunter Dasher and Brody Chambless touched home in the first inning. 

STMS went scoreless in the second, while NTMS’s Aiden Brock made it home to bring the score to 2-1. This would be the only run for NTMS. 

STMS’s Dacey Howard, Hanley Sims, Kolby Nasholts, and Landon Knight would also contribute one run each. Nasholts was intentionally walked twice, with his final at-bat being a homerun. 

Chambless contributed two more runs; Dasher also made it home a second time. Pason Eason also contributed two runs to the final score, 11-1.

The warriors were set to have another match up on Thursday, March 31, but it was rescheduled due to rain for Wednesday, April 6 at 4: 30 p.m. Their next meeting will be on Thursday, April 7 at 4:30 p.m. at the Glennville Recreation Department for a game for sixth and seventh grade players only.

Region playoffs will begin on April 12, leading up to the championship on April 16. Time and location will be announced.
