The Pinewood Clay Target Team opened their season on Saturday, August 20, 2022, in Savannah at Forest City Gun Club. 

Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) lost an extremely talented group of seniors las year: Rich Pazderski (who now shoots for Georgia Southern), Gabe Collins, and Jackson Fries. The PCA Clay Target Team is back in action and gaining momentum after their first team shoot. 

Saturday’s meet concluded with PCA placing fourth in a field of 13. Top five shooters for PCA were as follows: Miles Hendrix, a senior, shot 187 out of 200; Abi Pazderski shot 176; Chris Driggers shot 163; Harrison Cleary shot 152; and Cade Quick shot 147. 

Coach Jarin Lewis is excited for the year and was very complimentary of his first year shooters and is so proud of the amazing group of kids he has on his team this year.
